Led by Brandon Wildung and a staff that includes professional, NCAA, and USHL coaches and goaltenders, campers will receive personalized instruction in skating, positioning, puck tracking, save selection, rebound control, and game situations. With a maximum 3:1 goalie-to-coach ratio, every athlete receives individual feedback and a development plan they can continue using long after camp ends.

At Next Level Goaltending, every goalie receives individual attention through a maximum 3:1 goalie-to-coach ratio. This allows our staff to tailor instruction to each athlete’s age, experience level, and developmental needs. Whether you’re building fundamentals, preparing for junior hockey, or looking to take the next step toward college hockey, this camp is built to help you improve.

What You’ll Learn

Throughout the weekend, goalies will work on the skills and concepts that directly impact game performance, including:

  • Skating and crease movement
  • Positioning and angle play
  • Puck tracking and visual habits
  • Save selection and post integration
  • Rebound control
  • Recovery techniques
  • Reading offensive threats
  • Hockey IQ and game management
  • Mental preparation and confidence building

The goal is not simply to teach drills, but to help goalies understand why techniques work and how to apply them in game situations.

Camp Features

7+ Hours of On-Ice Training

Goalies will participate in progressive on-ice sessions featuring technical instruction, movement training, situational drills, and game-like scenarios designed to challenge and improve performance.

2+ Hours of Dryland Development

Off-ice training focuses on athletic development through mobility work, hand-eye coordination exercises, reaction training, and movement patterns that translate directly to success in the crease.

2+ Hours of Classroom Sessions

Learn how to read developing plays, identify offensive patterns, understand modern goaltending concepts, and improve decision-making through video analysis and classroom instruction.

Meet The Coaching Staff

Brandon Wildung

Brandon Wildung is the owner and founder of Next Level Goaltending and currently serves as Associate Head Coach of the USHL’s Sioux Falls Stampede. Prior to joining Sioux Falls, Wildung coached at the NCAA Division I level and has helped develop goaltenders who have advanced to junior, collegiate, and professional hockey. His coaching philosophy focuses on building complete goaltenders through strong fundamentals, game understanding, and individualized development plans.

Zane McIntyre

Zane McIntyre brings elite playing experience to every camp session. A standout collegiate goaltender at the University of North Dakota, McIntyre earned numerous honors during his NCAA career before signing a professional contract and advancing to the NHL with the Boston Bruins organization. He has also enjoyed a successful professional career in the American Hockey League and overseas. Zane provides valuable insight into what it takes to succeed at the highest levels of hockey while helping goalies develop practical skills they can immediately apply to their game.

Hank Johnson

Hank Johnson currently coaches in the USHL with the Fargo Force, one of the premier junior hockey organizations in North America. Working daily with elite junior players preparing for NCAA Division I and professional hockey opportunities, Johnson brings a modern coaching approach focused on skill development, hockey IQ, and performance habits that translate directly to competitive game situations.

Chris Jackson

Chris Jackson brings a strong background of junior and collegiate hockey experience to the Next Level Goaltending staff. Before playing NCAA hockey, Jackson competed for organizations including the Boston Jr. Rangers and Twin City Thunder, where he posted multiple seasons with a save percentage above .920 while facing top junior competition. He later advanced to the NCAA level, playing at Suffolk University and Albertus Magnus College. His recent playing experience allows him to connect directly with developing goaltenders while teaching the technical habits, preparation, and mindset required to succeed at higher levels of hockey.
