Train with Next Level Goaltending at the Red Baron Arena in Marshall, Minnesota from July 17-19, 2026. Led by Brandon Wildung, Associate Head Coach of the Sioux Falls Stampede (USHL) and former NCAA Division I coach, this three-day camp is designed to help goalies improve their skating, positioning, rebound control, hockey IQ, and overall game performance. Through elite on-ice instruction, dryland development, classroom sessions, and personalized coaching, athletes will gain the tools and confidence needed to elevate their game. Limited enrollment and a maximum 3:1 goalie-to-coach ratio ensure every goalie receives individual attention throughout the weekend.

The Marshall MN Goalie Camp focuses on the technical, tactical, and mental aspects of today’s game. Goalies will learn the same concepts and habits being taught at the junior, collegiate, and professional levels while receiving direct feedback from experienced coaches committed to their development.

Whether your goal is to become a stronger youth goalie, prepare for high school hockey, compete at the junior level, or continue advancing your game, this camp provides a complete training experience both on and off the ice.

What the Camp Includes

Elite On-Ice Training

Participants will receive more than seven hours of on-ice instruction focused on:

  • Skating and edge work
  • Positioning and angle management
  • Rebound control
  • Puck tracking
  • Save selection
  • Post integration techniques
  • Recovery mechanics
  • Game-like scenarios and competition drills

Every session is designed to help goalies improve their movement efficiency, consistency, and confidence in game situations.

Dryland Development

Goalies will participate in more than two hours of off-ice training focused on:

  • Athletic movement
  • Mobility and flexibility
  • Hand-eye coordination
  • Explosive power development
  • Injury prevention
  • Goalie-specific movement patterns

These sessions help athletes build the physical foundation necessary for long-term success in the crease.

Hockey IQ and Classroom Sessions

Understanding the game is just as important as stopping the puck. Camp participants will spend more than two hours learning:

Meet the Coaching Staff

Brandon Wildung

Brandon Wildung is the founder of Next Level Goaltending and currently serves as Associate Head Coach of the Sioux Falls Stampede in the USHL. He previously coached at the NCAA Division I level and has worked with goaltenders across youth, junior, collegiate, and professional hockey.

Known for his ability to simplify complex concepts and build strong technical foundations, Brandon focuses on helping athletes develop the habits, positioning, and game awareness necessary to succeed at every level. His coaching philosophy combines modern goalie techniques with practical game application, giving goalies tools they can immediately apply in competition.

Additional guest coaches may be added throughout the camp weekend to provide specialized instruction and maximize goalie development opportunities.

Small Group Training Environment

To ensure maximum individual attention, the Marshall camp maintains a maximum 3:1 goalie-to-coach ratio. This small-group format allows coaches to provide detailed feedback, personalized corrections, and meaningful interaction with every participant throughout the weekend.
