Train this summer with professional goaltender Jake Sibell at Blake Ice Arena in Hopkins, Minnesota. Designed for youth and high school goalies, the Sibell Goalie Camp focuses on skating, positioning, rebound control, puck tracking, and game situations that translate directly into game performance. With small group instruction and hands-on coaching, every goalie receives personalized feedback in a competitive and supportive environment. Meet Coach Jake Sibell

Minnesota native Jake Sibell brings more than a decade of high-level playing experience to the ice. A graduate of Cambridge-Isanti High School, Jake’s hockey journey has taken him through AAA hockey, the NAHL, USHL, NCAA Division I hockey, and professional hockey.

During his junior career, Jake earned national recognition while playing for the Aberdeen Wings of the NAHL. In the 2020-21 season he posted a remarkable 43-2-1 record, a 1.19 goals-against average, and a .952 save percentage, earning NAHL Goaltender of the Year, NAHL MVP, and USA Hockey’s Dave Peterson Goalie of the Year Award.

Jake went on to play NCAA Division I hockey at Niagara University before transferring to the University of St. Thomas, where he became a key contributor for the Tommies. During the 2023-24 season he recorded a .923 save percentage and 2.18 goals-against average, helping establish himself as one of the top goaltenders in the CCHA.

Today, Jake continues his professional career in the ECHL and brings current professional-level instruction directly to the goalies he coaches. His camps focus on skating, positioning, rebound control, game situations, and the habits required to succeed at the next level.
