Biography: Devan Dubnyk is a product of the Western Hockey League in Canada (read our article “Understanding Junior Hockey“) and the Edmonton Oilers. Once a highly regarded prospect, Dubnyk struggled during portions of his time in Edmonton and eventually went through the Arizona Coyotes and Nashville Predators before landing with the Minnesota Wild. In 2015, Dubnyk would go on to sign a 6 year 26 million dollar contract with the Minnesota Wild.
