Goaliecoaches.com is one of the top resources for hockey goalies on the internet. Before we grew a community of over 60,000 goalies, coaches and goalie parents, we started our company on the belief that every goalie should have direct access to goalie drills.
Today, our website features everything from goalie skate sharpening to goalie gear reviews. We’ve helped hundreds of goalies and goalie coaches with our drills and commitment to helping better understand the sport of hockey and this position.
We put a ton of effort into bringing some of the best and most up to date goalie related content to followers of our brand, whether it be on Instagram, Facebook or our website.
It’s incredibly important that we not only help out up and coming goalies on the ice, but off it as well. While we know that not every goalie will pursue their dreams of becoming a professional athlete, we do understand and support the passion of athletes following their professions in another light.
For that reason, we offer a yearly scholarship of $500 for University / College students.
- University and college students over 18 years old are eligible.
- Students must be pursuing a sports based major, or have a major with interest in pursuing a career in sports (Exercise Science, Sports Management, etc).
We would like you to write a short essay of about 750 – 1000 words.
You can choose one of the two topics below:
- Topic 1: What, if any, has influenced your decision to attend college / university and pursue the major you’re after?
- Topic 2: Who has had the greatest influence in your life up to this point, how did it affect your decision to attend college / university?
When submitting your essay, please include the following details:
- Full name
- Address
- Phone Number
- School name
- Your School Address
- Student ID / proof of enrollment
After processing all the applications we receive within the deadline stated above, we will choose the most eligible candidate as the winner by December 27th. Once the winner is finalized, a $500 check will be sent to his or her college by December 30th.
