What To Work On In This Drill:

Goalies, the biggest key in working on the lateral release is not sliding past the puck. With this drill, this should be your biggest focus. Force yourself to hold your edges as long as possible, while staying square to the puck the entire time. If you finding yourself sliding past the puck, you’re doing it incorrectly.
