The Bauer 1X goalie stick was developed for goalies who traditionally have used a foam core goalie stick, but haven’t wanted to fully transition to a composite goalie stick.

The Bauer 1X stick was a great composite stick when it first came out, however it has been replaced by the better Bauer Vapor 2X.
