How To Measure Your Head For Goalie Helmet Sizing
Measuring your head for correct goalie helmet sizing is one of the easiest measurements for measuring goalie equipment. The correct way to measure your head is to use a flexible tape measure, starting in the center of your forehead.
Next, wrap the tape around your head so that it is snug, but not over-tight. The tape measure should be level to the floor when standing upright and should finish on the exact starting point in the center of your forehead.

CCM Axis F9 Goalie Helmet Size Chart
CCM has taken an interesting approach to their helmet manufacturing, offering the CCM Axis 1.5 series for youth and beginner goalies and an expanded offering at the F9 level for these same goalies.
The CCM F9 goalie helmet is a step above both performance and price as compared to the Axis 1.5 series, which is why you’ll notice an extra size “extra small” listed below.
This is intentional, as the X-Small F9 goalie helmet is for goalies who want a higher performing helmet, but are still playing at a lower level and thus have a smaller head.

Of any goalie helmet manufacturer, Warrior has the most confusing naming convention for their gear. When you see Warrior R/F, it means “Ritual, Series”. The initial Warrior Ritual goalie helmet was the Warrior R/F1. Now, the company has released the latest iteration of this line, calling it the R/F2 series. In reality, it means Warrior Ritual F2. Or, the second iteration.
